Shop Manager Improvements & Bug Fixes
Made some improvements to Shop Manager based on early feedback. Added a few handy features and fixed some bugs that were getting in the way.
- Starring: mark your favorite items or best deals with a star icon for quick reference
- Shop archiving: archive shops that are no longer active instead of deleting them
- Opportunities improvements: better filtering and a bell icon to highlight the best deals
- Price display: cleaner price formatting - removed unnecessary .00 from whole number prices
- Notes editing: fixed a bug where notes would disappear when editing
- Category ordering: categories now match the same order as the main price guide for consistency
Shop Manager is now available
Shop Manager is now open to everyone. It's a simple way to track what you're buying and selling across one or more Minecraft servers, without needing to keep everything in spreadsheets. It also includes a Market Overview, letting you browse and compare items across all shops on a server in one place.
- Multiple servers: keep separate setups for different servers and SMPs
- Version tracking (1.16–1.21): tag a server with its Minecraft version so the item list stays relevant
- Multiple shops per server: add shops with names, locations, and optional descriptions
- Buy / sell pricing: set and edit prices directly in the item table
- Last-checked tracking: see when shop prices were last reviewed and reset the date after rechecking
- Shop state tracking: mark items as out of stock and shops as having run out of money
- Market Overview: browse and search all items across all shops on a server to compare prices at a glance
- Notes: add your own metadata per item or shop for reminders and context
- Private by default: your shop data is only visible to you
- Note: The mobile version is still quite wonky, and I'm working on it
Early Access: Shop Manager
The new Shop Manager is nearly ready, and I'm opening a small early access group for anyone who wants to try it out before it goes live. There are 5 spots available. You'll get early access to the new features, plus the chance to help shape and refine it before the full release. If you'd like to join the early access group, DM me on Discord or email support@minecraft-economy-price-guide.net
Roadmap
Status Legend
- In Progress: Being delivered incrementally - users may see updates
- In Development: Being built and tested - not yet available to users
- Pending: Not yet started
- Idea: Concept stage - not yet planned for implementation
- Completed: Fully available to all users
Diamond Currency Support
PendingSupport diamond-based economies as an alternative to money. Users can switch between money and diamond currencies, set conversion ratios, and see prices displayed in their preferred currency. This feature will make the price guide more flexible for servers that use diamonds as currency.
Planned:
- ⏳Switch between money and diamond currencies in the UI
- ⏳Set and adjust diamond-to-money conversion ratios
- ⏳Display all prices in the selected currency
Custom Price Guides - Create Your Own Price References
IdeaCreate your own price guides with custom prices and notes. Set prices for any item from the main guide, add personal notes, and choose between static or recipe-based pricing. Perfect for documenting server-specific prices or building your own price reference.
Planned:
- ⏳📝 Create multiple price guides - name them and optionally link to servers
- ⏳💰 Set custom prices for any item from the main guide
- ⏳📝 Add personal notes to document your pricing decisions
- ⏳🔧 Choose static or recipe-based pricing for each item
- ⏳⚡ Bulk import items and recalculate recipe-based prices
Profile Switcher / Server Profiles
IdeaAllow users to save and quickly switch between different sets of price guide settings (version, currency, price ratios, etc.) for different servers or shop contexts. This is especially useful for users who manage shops on multiple servers with different economies.
Planned:
- ⏳Save multiple named profiles with version, currency, and price settings
- ⏳Quickly switch between profiles from the main price guide UI
- ⏳Profile management: create, rename, delete, and reorder profiles
- ⏳Profiles can be linked to specific servers or shop types (optional)
